Clark County Youth Participate in The Pony of the Americas National Congress Show

-The Pony of the Americas National Congress Show was held at the Tulsa Expo Square in Tulsa, Oklahoma July 13th-21st.Three Clark County youth participated in this national level competition. 17-year-old Torie Opelt of Greenwood was named Congress Champion in Junior Trail and Junior reining with her pony Levi. Torie and Levi also earned several Top 10 honors. 13-year-old Brooke Magnus of Neillsville competed with her pony JoJo. Brooke and JoJo earned six Top 10 placings with their best finish of 3rd place nationally in Bareback Equitation for 10-13 year old girls.
Finally, 9-year-old Zachary Magnus also competed with JoJo. Zachary earned National Congress Champion honors in Hunt Seat Equitation and Hunter Under Saddle for 9 and under boys. He also received four Reserve Champion Honors.
