Spencer Man Enters Plea for Killing Two Brothers

Wednesday, May 26th, 2021 -- 1:01 PM

(Marshfield News Herald) A 23-year-old Spencer man accused of killing two brothers last year pleaded guilty Tuesday.

According to the Marshfield News Herald, Brandon D. Noll is accused of killing Michael L. Stone and William R. Stone, both of Stratford. Noll pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree intentional homicide.

Marathon County Circuit Court Judge Michael Moran dismissed and read in two counts of driving or operating a vehicle without consent and one count of fleeing or eluding an officer. Moran ordered that a pre-sentence investigation be completed within 90 days. The date of Noll's sentencing has not yet been set.

Marathon County sheriff's deputies, Wisconsin State Patrol and Stratford police responded April 7, 2020, to a report of a stabbing near County P in the town of Cleveland, according to the sheriff's office. They arrested Noll after they say he led them on a high-speed chase that ended in Marshfield.
