Field Day in Stratford on Wednesday, Still Time to Register

-On Wednesday, July 19th from 12:30 ??" 3:00 p.m. a Field Day is being held at the Agriculture Research Station in Stratford.With all the challenges of the 2017 growing season several professionals can discuss some of the 2017 growing season challenges. Speakers include Richard Halopka, Clark County UW-Extension Crops & Soils Agent, Jason Cavadini, ARS assistant superintendent, Sandy Stuttgen, Taylor County Agriculture Agent, Amanda Kasparek, Clark County Land Conservation Agronomist, Jane Reigel, USDA-NRCS District Conservationist and Kirk Langfoss, Marathon County Conservation, Planning, and Zoning.
This will be a rain or shine event and some demonstrations will be in the field, so dress accordingly. CEU’s will be applied for agronomist. Bring all your questions related to soil health, cover crops, rotational pastures and the interaction of soil health and tillage.
