Reports at Granton Village Board Meeting

-The Granton Village Board heard the various reports at their meeting last week.According to the unofficial minutes from the meeting, the board heard the Constable’s Report. The report outlined the month’s activities and they were also presented the report outlining the tickets collected for the quarter. The board also heard the Clerk’s Report. There will not be any fall elections. This means the school’s referendum question will be a stand-alone on the ballot.
Finally, the board heard the Treasurer’s Report. The beginning balance in checking was $140,134.01 ending balance was $94,717.66. Beginning balance in the money market account was $341,984.33 and the ending balance is $342,419.57. The recycling grant was awarded for $1,332.78. They received a $100.00 to the cemetery. Finally, the village received a reimbursement from the league insurance for $1,890.00.
