Marshfield Clinic Completes Asset Purchase of Saint Joseph's Hospital

-Marshfield Clinic Health System marked an exciting new chapter with the completed asset purchase of Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.The 500-bed hospital, now called Marshfield Medical Center, together with the Clinic, provides complete inpatient and outpatient care for central Wisconsin and beyond. The hospital purchase also adds approximately 1,200 employees to MCHS. The completed purchase follows the April signing of a definitive agreement between MCHS and Saint Joseph’s Hospital of Marshfield, Inc., an affiliate of Ministry Health Care, part of Ascension Wisconsin.
A ribbon cutting ceremony and community celebration will be held 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, at Marshfield Medical Center. Additional event details will be released soon.
