Wood County Sheriff's Department Looking for Man Involved in Incident With BB Gun

The Wood County Sheriff’s Department is looking for an armed man after he allegedly shot a person with a BB gun in the Township of Saratoga.

According to the department, around 11pm on Sunday, an individual spotted a man hunched over near W. Church Avenue and Thunder Trail east of the Wisconsin River.

The individual approached the hunched over man when he demanded the individual’s wallet.  A confrontation took place and the man shot the individual in the stomach with a BB gun.  His injury was minor and no treatment was needed.

The suspect ran away.  He’s described as being in his mid-20’s, clean-shaven, and was wearing a green shirt and jeans.  He has not been located at this time.
