Administrators' Reports at Neillsville School Board Meeting

-The Neillsville School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting on Monday.

District Administrator John Gaier presented the elementary report for Elementary Principal Tim Rueth. Mr. Gaier report on attendance, the State Forward Exam testing window March 20th through May 5th, grade level music concerts on May 22nd, 23rd and 25th, upcoming field trips, grade level benchmark and STAR assessments and summer school classes June 5th ??" 30th. High School Principal Craig Anderson reported on attendance, a scheduling update, the Academic Letter Presentation on April 12th, a testing update an FFA update, a Forensics update, May 4th the 8th graders are going to Career Venture in Eau Claire and May 5th is the Reality Store for 8th graders.

He also reported that May 5th is the 7th graders field trip to Festival of Nations, May 30th is the 8th grade promotion ceremony, May 17th are the scholarship presentations, May 24th is the senior banquet and May 27th is the graduation. Finally, District Administrator John Gaier reported on two thank you notes, a job fair announcement, next year’s Medford legislative meeting, an executive director position for the Association for Equity in Funding, a letter from Governor Walker regarding the state budget, a document reporting efforts by GOP legislators to restrict school referenda, information from the Rural Schools Association regarding the federal budget, a state supreme court decision regarding students with disabilities, an article regarding taxation and a list of all of the state and federal annual notice requirements.
