Clerk's Report at Granton Village Board Meeting

-The Granton Village Board heard several reports at their meeting last week.According to the unofficial minutes from the meeting, the board heard the clerk’s report. The Board of Review is set for Tuesday May 9th and a billing estimate was sent to Stargardt’s and Thomas’s for culvert replacement. Quarterly Payroll reconciliation was completed and estimates for the damaged cemetery stone, which was damaged during the wind storm, were obtained and a claim was filed with the insurance company. She also met with the library director to ensure they’re all on the same page, the Recycling Grant and the Actual Cost Annual Report to the DNR was submitted. First quarter utility billing was also sent.
The clerk also spent 2 days with the IRS to reconcile the payment for the log cabin, filed the CDBG Annual Housing activity Report, paid the TIFF Fees and filed the Tax Increment Certification report. The April 4th election was completed without incident, she filed the annual TID SL-209 report and attended the monthly library meeting. Finally, the library board voted to have the Village of Granton Clerk as the primary signature and the Library Director as the secondary signature on the established checking and the proposed money market account.
