Administrators' Reports at Owen-Withee School Board Meeting
Wednesday, April 19th, 2017 -- 7:30 AM
-The Owen-Withee School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting last week.Elementary Principal Lance Batchelor reminded that board that Denise Swartz will be receiving a Kohl Fellowship. This was learned just after the March School Board Meeting. The elementary is in the middle of state testing in grades 3-6. Summer School information will be handed out in the next few days. Thanks to Mrs. McKay and Ms. Rahn for their work on doing the summer school scheduling. April 17-22 will be the Spring Book Fair and the Enrichment Fair will be held on Thursday, April 20th from 2-3 PM and from 3:45-5:30 PM.
Jr/Sr High Dean of Students Julie Van Ark reported that Josiah Goerlitz will be receiving a Kohl Academic Excellence Scholarship for $5000. Mrs. Jaskot and seven students will be attending the Student Council Convention April 22-24th. Mrs. Serocki and 5 students will be heading to the State Forensics competition in Madison April 21st and 22nd. Junior Prom is set for Saturday, April 29th at the Munson Bridge Winery and State Solo and Ensemble will be held on Saturday, May 6th at UW-Eau Claire.
