Greenwood School Board Approves Lawn Care Bid and More

-The Greenwood School Board accepted a bid for lawn care at their meeting on Monday.The board accepted the lawn care bid for 2017 from Norm’s Lawn Care and they accepted the 2-year uniforms and mops bid from G & K Services. The board also approved the purchase of the math curriculum materials for K-5 Math Expressions and 6-12 Big Ideas Math which will be implemented in the next school year. They also approved the purchase of new Spanish I, II, and III textbooks and approved the completed School Board Policy Manual.
Also, the board approved the updated job descriptions for principal, district administrator, business manager, dean of students and athletic director, they received the next group of job descriptions for review which include technology support specialist, food service director, assistant cook/server, head custodian, custodian, they approved the new letter of appointment for support staff, letter of intent for teachers and contract forms for teachers. Finally, they had discussions regarding the preliminary notice of non-renewal, 2017-18 salaries and wages and district administrator evaluation.
