Neillsville City Council Discusses Loan Application

-The Neillsville City Council discussed a few items at their meeting on Tuesday.The council discussed a housing loan application. This loan was initially discussed during a Grants Committee meeting held on March 30th. The applicant requested the loan for repairs and a window replacement. The total cost, with closing costs, came to $8,550, which was approved by the committee. The council also discussed a donation from Tony Trunkel to the police department’s K-9 program and the city’s old parking meters.
The council also heard the Heritage Days Committee report from March 30th. Several topics were discussed including the Miss Neillsville program, security, activities and more. Finally, the council heard the Library Committee report from March 21st. They heard about the library’s recent redesign, Easter baskets, donations, programs and more.
