Person Arrested During Thorp Drug Bust Appears in Clark County Court

-One of four people arrested in Thorp after a drug investigation appeared in Clark County Court on Friday.Back in February, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Thorp Police Department and the West Central Drug Task Force executed two search warrants in the City of Thorp. The search warrants were executed at 600 North Washington Street and 303 ½ North Church Street. The search warrants were a result of an ongoing drug investigation by the Sheriff’s Office and Thorp Police Department. There were several arrests and a child was placed into protective custody by Clark County Social Services.
One of the arrested, Saige Marten, appeared in court for a preliminary hearing. Probable cause was found so her court proceedings will continue. She also entered a not guilty plea to the charges against her which include possession, bail jumping, neglecting a child and more.
