Monday, March 27th, 2017 -- 10:16 AM

-One of three people arrested for drug use at a truck stop in Black River Falls was sentenced in Jackson County Court on Friday.

Back in April of 2016, police received reports of an intoxicated driver at the Flying J Truck Stop around 2:45 in the morning. When they arrived they searched the suspects’ car after smelling marijuana. They found meth, oxycodone and marijuana.

The three suspects, Damion Palms, Sashal Hollencamp and Travis Towne were arrested and they had several, similar charges against them including possession of meth, possession of narcotic drugs, possession of THC and more. Towne was found guilty, due to a no contest plea, of possession of methamphetamine. Three other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 3 years’ probation with multiple conditions.
