Cancer Clear and Simple Workshop April 3rd

We have all been affected in some way by cancer; however, the word ‘cancer’ doesn’t need to leave you feeling scared or confused.The Cancer Clear & Simple (CC&S) workshop will give you a basic understanding of what cancer is, the risk factors leading to cancer and other chronic diseases, and prevention strategies. You will learn how to use cancer screenings as a tool for early detection. The University of Wisconsin Extension, along with the Clark County Health Department, will present Cancer Clear & Simple on Monday, April 3 at Abbotsford City Hall starting at 10:00 a.m.
This workshop will include engaging activities and useful handouts. Cancer Clear & Simple is an educational program that is part of a partnership between UW Carbone Cancer Center’s Cancer Health Disparities Initiative (CHDI) and UW-Extension.
