Owen City Council Discusses Raze Order

-The Owen City Council discussed some property on 3rd Street at their meeting last week.The city clerk reported that the Order to Raze has been delivered on the property at 219 E. 3rd Street by the Clark County Sheriff’s Department. Any person who wishes to file a petition contesting this Order, may do so prior to 30 days from the date served. A 2-page list of judgements, from the City’s Attorney, was also presented to the Council. A member of the Council reported that the placard had not been placed on the property.
The council also heard the public works report and training report. MSA Professional Services presented a project update on the 4th Street Construction, Clean Water Fund Administration, and Lift Station #1. They also presented a map of Lift Station #1 and the current utility easements and the council approved to move forward with an easement for Lift Station #1 gas supply line needed for the generator.
