Greenwood School Board Approves Updated Job Descriptions

-The Greenwood School Board approved some updated job descriptions at their meeting on Monday.The board approved the updated job descriptions for teacher, LMC Specialist or LMC/Technology Integration Specialist, Title 1 teacher, speech-language pathologist, and school counselor. The board also received the next group of job descriptions for review which includes principal, district administrator, business manager, dean of students, and athletic director. The board reviewed the new letter of appointment [support staff], letter of intent [teachers] and contract forms [teachers]. They plan on approving them at their April meeting.
The board also approved salary and wage increases for 2017-18. Professional staff increase will be 1.5% and support staff will be a .25/per hour increase. They approved a contract extension for the Business Manager and District Administrator for the 2018-2019 school year. Finally, they accepted the resignation of the 4K-12 principal, effective at the end of the school year.
