Quiet Night for Neillsville City Council

-The Neillsville City Council had a relatively quiet night at their meeting on Tuesday.The biggest item on the agenda was the discussion about the variance request to exceed the height limitation with 3 miles of the Neillsville Airport for a new communication tower. The council had a joint meeting with the city’s Zoning Board of Appeals to begin. They also heard several committee reports including a Planning Commission meeting report from March 8th where they also discussed the communication tower.
The heard a report from the Personnel Committee meeting held on February 28th which involved a grievance filed in regards to two Neillsville Officers. They also heard a report from the Heritage Days Committee meeting held on March 9th. At that meeting, the committee discussed security, bands, the grand marshals and more. They also heard a Community Fire Hall Board meeting from March 9th.
