2017 Behavioral Health Community Conference Coming In April

Complex family dynamics, especially family members enlisting or returning from active military duty, often cause unique and unexpected communication and stress challenges for families, friends, colleagues or communities in general.

Marshfield Clinic, with support from Mike’s Run in Marshfield, will host the 2017 Behavioral Health Community Conference to help participants understanding these complexities and be better able to address them to create a healthier and happier environment. Dr. Kimberly Kick, owner/co-founder of the Military Family Division of Divorce Communications, Libertyville, Illinois, will present “Combatting Communication &Stress Challenges: Helping families be happier and healthier!”

The program will be held Thursday, April 20, in the Melvin R. Laird Center for Medical Research, Marshfield Clinic, 1000 North Oak Ave., Marshfield. Registration and refreshments begin at 6 p.m., program is 6:30-8 p.m. Participants will be able to ask questions following the program. There is no cost to attend.
