Cadott Man Arrested for Drinking and Driving with Child in Vehicle Appears in Court

-A Cadott man arrested for drinking and driving with his child in the car appeared in Clark County Court on Wednesday.Back in September, deputies from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office stopped 42-year-old Michael Hazard Sr. for traveling 78 mph in a 55 mph zone on CTH O, in Clark County. In the vehicle with Michael was his 10 year old child. Michael admitted to drinking and had an odor of an intoxicant on his breath. He tried to perform standardized field sobriety exercises but failed.
Hazard has been charged with 6th OWI with a passenger under 16 in the vehicle and 6th operating with a PAC with a passenger under 16 in the vehicle. During his arraignment on Wednesday, he entered not guilty pleas to the charges against him.
