Rib Lake Woman Found Guilty of Bicyclist Death

(WDLB) -A Rib Lake woman has been found guilty of homicide in connection with the texting and driving death of a bicyclist near Marshfield.55-year-old Lorie Ann Miller was found guilty Monday on charges of homicide by reckless driving, for killing 52-year-old Donna David north of Marshfield in July of 2015. As part of the plea agreement, Miller will most likely end up serving nine months in jail and nine years on probation.
David taught chemistry at Northcentral Technical College, and was also a researcher at the Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation. She was killed while riding her bike on Highway âTâ north of Marshfield on July 13th of 2015. Marathon County Circuit Judge Jill Falstad has ordered a pre-sentence investigation. Miller faces a maximum of 10 years in prison.
