Black River Falls Man Enters Plea for Drug Charges

-A Black River Falls man arrested after a controlled law enforcement drug buy back in July of last year entered pleas to the charges against him in Jackson County Court on Monday.According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, they executed a search warrant at a home in July and arrested Charles Butterfield. During the search, they found two handguns, 151 grams of marijuana, meth, meth paraphernalia and other drug paraphernalia.
Butterfield was found guilty of manufacturing/delivering THC and maintaining a drug trafficking place. Several other charges were dismissed and read in. He’ll be back in court at the end of March for sentencing.
