Osseo Woman Arrested for 5th OWI Appears in Court

-An Osseo woman arrested for her 5th OWI appeared in Jackson County Court on Wednesday.According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, back in October of last year, they found Melinda Lee sleeping in her vehicle on Highway 10 in the Town of Garfield. Deputies say she appeared to be under the influence when they woke her. Lee failed a field sobriety test and was arrested.
During her court appearance on Monday, she waived a preliminary hearing and entered a not guilty plea to the charges against her which include 5th OWI and 5th Operating with a PAC. She’ll be back in court in July.
