Thank You Letters and More at Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board heard about thank you letters that will be sent to various people at their meeting on Monday.“Thank You” letters will be sent to Tim Karlen for the donation of toy tractors and a car collection for display to the Greenwood FFA, the Loyal United Methodist Church for the donation of hand-made hats, headbands, mittens and scarves for students in need and to Sharon Rogers and Jim Mildbrand for the donation of art supplies to the Art Department. In addition “thank yous” will also be sent to the 30 donors who sponsored the yearly Santa Project at the Elementary and Middle/High Schools.
The board also approved a list of 3 volunteers and approved the change of Kristin Volovsek from part-time SPED assistant to fulltime. It was also stated that final exams will be held on January 17 and 18. Finally, during an Employee Relations Committee meeting discussion focused on the 2017-18 school calendar and improving the teacher mentoring program.
