Unemployment Falls in All Wisconsin Counties

-Unemployment rates have dropped in every Wisconsin county and all 32 of the state's largest cities.The state Department of Workforce Development reported Wednesday on local unemployment rates for September. It shows that unemployment fell compared with August in all 72 counties and the largest cities. Clark County had a rate of 3% for September compared to3.2% in August and 3.5% in September of 2015. Clark County ranks 60th out of the state’s 72 counties in regards to the unemployment rate. The county ranked 64th in August.
For our neighboring counties, Chippewa has a rate of 3.2%, 2.8% for Eau Claire, 3.5% for Jackson, Wood is at 3.9%, Marathon is at 3% and Taylor has a rate of 3%.
