Owen-Withee School Board Discusses Pupil Non-Discrimination Self Evaluation

-The Owen-Withee School Board discussed the Pupil Non-Discrimination Self Evaluation at their meeting on Monday.The board reviewed the Pupil Non-Discrimination report that the District is required to complete every five years. No questions or concerns were raised over the report. The report, which covers the junior and senior high schools, looks at educational opportunities offered and the percentage of students who participate based on gender, ethnicity, poverty and special education status. Certification of completion and review of the report is required by the DPI.
The Frontier contract for phone service was discussed and unanimously approved. The one year contract, for this school year, covers 11 phones lines with unlimited calling for $359.88 per month. Finally, a student made an application for 16 credits at CVTC under the Youth Options program. The Board unanimously approved this request. Application for spring semester courses must be made by October 1st.
