More Info on Accident South of Neillsville on Saturday

-The Wisconsin State Patrol released more information in regards to a crash that occurred on Highway 73 south of Neillsville on Saturday.

36-year-old Harry P Dougherty, from Alma Center, was arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 3rd offense. On October 22nd around 5:30 pm, Dougherty was arrested by a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants, third offense, causing bodily injury. Dougherty was operating a vehicle which was involved in a traffic crash with a milk truck on STH 73, near Middle Road.

Dougherty’s passenger’s femur was broken during the crash and Dougherty displayed signs of impairment which were noted by the Trooper on scene and he was placed under arrest. An evidentiary blood draw was completed at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield where Dougherty was being treated for his injuries.
