Accident Closes Highway 73 Saturday Evening

The Clark County Sheriff’s Department received a call at 5:30 PM Saturday of a two vehicle accident a quarter mile north of Middle Road south of Neillsville on Highway 73.The accident involved a milk truck and a car. The two occupants of the car were transported by air and ground ambulance from the scene. The truck driver was not injured. The condition of the car occupants is unknown at this time. Highway 73 was closed for about 5 hours following the accident.
The Neillsville Fire & Rescue responded to the incident as well as the Neillsville Police Department, the Clark County Sheriff’s Department, Wisconsin State Patrol, Neillsville Municipal Ambulance and Marshfield Spirit Air Ambulance. The accident is currently under investigation by the Clark County Sheriff’s Department & the Wisconsin State Patrol.
