Loyal School Board Approves Tax Levy

-The Loyal School Board approved the district’s tax levy at their meeting on Wednesday.The board approved a levy of $1,822,967, which was up 1.61% from last year. This creates a mill rate of 9.98 for the district, which is up .37% from last year. They district also approved their budget, student handbook and property insurance for the year.
The board also approved an out-of-state field trip for the band in December and accepted the resignation of a food service worker and hired a new food service worker. Finally, they discussed their ever-increasing Facebook following. The new social media program is going will.
