Black River Falls Man Accused of Stabbing his Roommate has Charges Dismissed

-Charges have been dismissed against a Black River Falls man accused of stabbing his roommate.Back in July, 21-year-old Cory Kampmeier was arrested after he stabbed his roommate at a home on the 400 block of South 3rd Street in Black River Falls. Kampmeier stated that it was done in self-defense because his roommate attacked him. His defense attorney stated that Kampmeier was assaulted several times and that he had a legal right to defend himself.
Kampmeier had a charge of first-degree recklessly endangering safety dismissed.
