Clerk's Report at Granton Council Meeting

-The Granton Village Council heard a report from the village clerk at their meeting on Wednesday of last week.Schedules for the election and training certification have been sent out, all absentee ballots were processed and the election materials was posted, 5 cemetery plots were sold and deeds created and the deeds have been update and are now current. The payroll was completed timely and the quarter financials were submitted to the state and IRS and photos were taken of the damaged cemetery stone and sent to Marshfield Monument for a quote. The estimate to repair the damages is $350.00. Ramberg will contact the Federal agency for reimbursement through workforce development. Photos of the damages done during the Septemeber21 and 22 flood were taken.
Also, the library contract is now available in electronic format. The United Communities meeting on Sept 26th has been set up to include the guest speaker, a meat and cheese tray and beverages. Utility billing is complete and MSA work has been done including work on a grant, a principal forgiveness payment and request a change to the CDBG split. Letters were also sent out to the State DOT in Madison and Eau Claire as well as the county updating the Bridge damage repairs, worked with Ramberg to complete and submit the DOT maintenance reports for funding and worked with Mark Anderson and Mark Ramberg to clarify the road aid and bridge inspection questions. The clerk also attend several trainings and seminars.
