Arrest of Home Invasion Suspect Results in Drug Bust in Jackson County

-On October 16, 2016, at about 10:28 AM, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was requested to assist an outside police agency with locating a suspect that had been involved in a home invasion earlier that day.Deputies responded to an address in the Town of Northfield where the suspect lived. The suspect was located and taken into custody. During the investigation, a search warrant was executed at the residence which yielded drug paraphernalia, over 1 lb. of Marijuana, prescription pills, evidence of drug sales/distribution, and about $17,000 in currency.
The case is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
