SUV vs. Bus Crash South of Marshfield

-There was a bus vs. SUV crash south of Marshfield around 3:45pm on Monday.According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, a school bus was stopped in the northbound lane of County Road A near a cluster of homes in Richfield when an SUV rear-ended the school bus. The driver of the SUV and the passenger were taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital in with moderate to severe injuries.
County Road A was closed for about an hour after the crash, there were around 8 students on the bus at the time of the accident and no citations have been issued at this time. The investigation into the crash continues and the Sherriff’s Department reminds motorists to be aware of school buses.
