Security Health Plan Recognized for Medicare Plans

-Security Health Plan of Wisconsin, Inc., has again been recognized among the nation’s leading health plans by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for its Medicare Advantage plans for 2017.The Plan received an overall rating of 4.5 in the 5-star rating system that the federal agency uses to rank Medicare Advantage and Part D Prescription Drug plans. For 2017, Security Health Plan is offering Medicare Advantage HMO plan options in 47 Wisconsin counties, plus its Secure Saver Medicare Medical Savings Account (MSA) plan statewide. All plans are designed to improve the quality of care members receive, increase members’ satisfaction with their care and service, and control the cost of care.
Security Health Plan is holding seminars throughout its service area during Medicare’s annual enrollment period (AEP) from Oct. 15 through Dec. 7. The AEP is the only time most Medicare beneficiaries can change their benefits. Individuals who have or will soon be eligible for Medicare are invited to register for a seminar online at www.securityhealth.org/seminar.
