Granton School Board Approves Several Items

-The Granton School Board approved several items at their meeting on Monday.The board approved a student's request for a spring Youth Options Class, they reviewed language for a propose Allergy management Policy and they approved the Transportation Agreement with Neillsville for Transportation Director and Mechanic Services. In regards to employment matters the board approved the resignation of James Hill as Varsity Boys' Basketball Coach, the hiring of Joe Pagenkopf as a bus driver and the hiring of Jeanne Roberts Daycare Worker.
The superintendent reported on the September 3rd Friday membership count. A total of 248 Full Time Students was reported to the DPI for budget purposes. The board also convened to executive session to review staff compensation, but no action was taken. They also reviewed the status of recently completed projects and discussed the status of the swimming pool. Finally, the Annual Meeting will be held on Monday, October 24th. The meeting will convene at 8:00 pm and will be held in the school cafeteria.
