Greenwood School Board Hears Updates and More

-The Greenwood School Board sent out several thank you letters for various donations at their meeting on Monday.“Thank You” letters will be sent to Tom Stiefvater for his gift of a tennis ball server, tennis rackets and tennis balls for the physical education department and to Grassland for the donation of school supplies donated to the middle/high school. The board also approved a list of 12 volunteers, accepted the resignation of Heather Durrstein and approved several field trips including the FFA Leadership conference November 11-12 and FFA trip to CINCH World’s Toughest Rodeo in St. Paul February 4th.
The Transportation & Safety Committee provided a presentation regarding 2 additional AED units: one near the East Gym and the other in the Fitness Center. There was also a discussion of adding security cameras at certain entrances. The Building & Grounds Committee provided an update on summer work that was completed and discussion of potential future projects. Finally, the Employee Relations Committee had an initial meeting and discussed goals and creation of a list of possible topics.
