This Week is National 4-H Week, Part 4

-This week is National 4-H week.I spoke with Chris Holler, the 4-H Advisor with the Clark County UW-Extension Office, and she explained more of the things 4-H students did this past summer.
"So, now as we keep moving down our group, and I hope miss some of the activities that we did, we had summer camp. Sunset Pines Resort over in Willard is just a fantastic, beautiful, beautiful area and so they very kindly, and generously, allowed us to do our overnight camp there and our day camp there without a cost. So, that was awesome. And then for our older youth, we went up to Camp Kenward up in Chippewa Falls. And that's a totally new camp for us, but it's out on a little peninsula and it's right off Lake Wissota. It was a beautiful location and a fun camp. Hopefully, these are the kids that are going to comp up and be our counselors. So, we also have our older youth be camp counselors throughout the summer. And of course we have the fair. Which is a nice culmination to things, but kinda like hopefully everything else is an added bonus to the fair."
Coming up on Friday, Chris will talk about 4-H Week and how kids can get involved.
