-The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution and ordinance at their meeting on Tuesday. The resolution approved was for the county to provide funding for in-county public libraries. A Wisconsin Statute requires the county to make annual payments to support public libraries and they’re mandated to reimburse them at a rate of at least 70% for residents that are considered non-resident borrowers. The Clark County Library Board requested an increase in 2017 at county library budgets have decreased. So the resolution agrees to a reimbursement rate of 73% coming to a total of $11,954.53.
The county also had the 2nd reading of an ordinance amending Clark County Shorelands and Wetlands Zoning Ordinance. They heard presentations on Workplace Harassment and Bullying Training, the 2017 Budget Presentation and an update on the Clark County Economic Development Corporation and Tourism Bureau. They also heard an update on the Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center renovation, capital improvements and new addition.
