Weather forces Jackson County Trails to Close

Due to weather conditions, the Jackson County Forestry and Parks Department was forced to close the county’s trail system.They apologize for the short notice but with the amount of rain received yesterday on top of the already high water conditions, they have to close.
They will re-evaluate their trails on Monday and look at a possible date to re-open. Weather for the today is calling for more cold and rainy conditions.
