Local FFA Members and Chapters Recognized

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The National FFA Organization has announced that 15 Wisconsin students will compete as Proficiency Award finalists at this year's national convention.One of the winning students includes Brandon Anding of Granton for Ag Mechanics Repair-Placement. Another 13 Wisconsin members earned Gold ratings on their Proficiency Award applications, with another 11 earning Silver ratings.
Meanwhile, many chapters will be honored during the convention. Programs being recognized as 2 Star Rated Chapters include Granton, Owen-Withee and Stanley Boyd. Colby will receive a 1 Star Chapter award. The National FFA Convention will be held fall in Indianapolis, Indiana.
