Owen-Withee School Board Dicusses Student Fees

The Owen-Withee School Board discussed student fees at their meeting last week.The board reviewed the fees charged to students as is required by board policy. The $10 fee charged to students in grades 7-12 is for technology usage, the $25 fee for athletic participation and the $150 for behind-the-wheel driver’s ed were approved with no changes from last year.
The board unanimously approved changing the date of the October regular Board Meeting to Monday, October 24th to coincide with the Budget Hearing and Annual Meeting. This will eliminate the need to a Special Meeting that month. The board also unanimously approved purchasing bus and auto fuel from Withee Oil and unanimously approved keeping substitute teacher pay the same as 2015-16 at $95 per day plus lunch
