BRF Woman Arrested For 8th OWI

A Black River Falls woman was arrested for her 8th OWI on Saturday.According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, Cynthia Smith was pulled over just before 5pm on Saturday within the city limits of Black River Falls. She was pulled over for a registration violation, but deputies could smell alcohol and believe she was intoxicated.
Smith refused to take a sobriety test and was arrested for her 8th OWI. She was taken to the Jackson County Jail after a blood draw was done at the hospital
