Minnesota Woman Charged with Sexual Assault in Marathon County Enters Plea

-A Minnesota woman charged with two counts of sexual assault entered a plea to the charges against her in Marathon County Court on Wednesday.According to court records, the 36-year-old woman from La Crescent, Minnesota befriended a 15-year-old boy who lived near Spencer. The woman met the boy after he and the woman’s daughter became friends. The boy’s mother began to notice he was acting strange around the woman and the boy admitted to his mother that he and the woman had sex on four occasions between May and June.
The woman has been charged with sexual assault and has a $50,000 cash bond set against her. She’s also not allowed to have any contact with the victim. During her arraignment on Wednesday, she entered a not guilty plea to the charges against her.
