Granton School Board Reviews Facilities Projects

-The Granton School Board reviewed several ongoing facilities projects at their meeting on Monday.The asbestos floor tile removal project is nearly complete. Air quality checks will be ongoing until the end of the week and the roofing project was completed in July. Also, a proposed Spanish Fundraiser was reviewed and tabled, several personnel items were moved to closed session for discussion, but no action taken and the board approved the FFA Leadership team to attend the National Convention.
The board also approved the first reading of a new district wide grading policy, approved the administrative procedure for the district’s Bullying Policy and approved a resolution to exceed the revenue limit, non-recurring, to fund Energy Efficiency Projects.
