Coronavirus Numbers for November 18th

-Taking a look at some local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 1,741 positive cases.  Of those, 492 are currently active and 136 needed to be hospitalized.  Clark County has had 30 people die from the virus.  Wood has seen a total of 3,223 positive cases.  Wood has had 17 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 323,848 positive cases (an increase of 7,090 over the previous day) and 2,741 deaths, an increase of 92 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 14,817, or 4%, have been hospitalized.  For our other neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 3,693 positive, Eau Claire has seen 6,251 positive, Jackson has seen 1,293 positive, Marathon has seen 8,284 positive and Taylor has seen 903 positive.

Marathon has had 101 people die from the virus; Chippewa has had 41 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 45 people die from the virus; Taylor has had 11 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had 4 people die from the virus.
