Marshfield School Board Announces Two New Principals

Wednesday, June 29th, 2016 -- 8:03 AM

(WDLB) -Marshfield’s Board of Education is announcing two new principals to fill vacancies left by two others who abruptly resigned, and for no apparent reason.

According to WDLB, Jason Wilhelm will replace Steve Sukawaty as Principal of Marshfield High School. Wilhelm is a Rosholt native, and has been the Assistant Principal at Oregon High School south of Madison since 2011. Meanwhile, Tiffany Scheer has been hired to replace Greg Kaster as Principal of Madison Elementary. Scheer has been an Assistant Principal in Monroe County, Florida since March of 2014.

The school board has not yet replaced assistant high school principal Trena Loomans, who has taken the same position at D.C. Everest middle school. Loomans is moving on from Marshfield after just one year in the district. Last month she became the latest in a handful of administrators to leave in the past year. It has led many to speculate on social media and elsewhere about the relationship between staff members, the school board and Superintendent Dee Wells.
