Presentations, Reports and More at Clark County Board of Supervisors Meeting

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved a few resolutions at their meeting on Thursday.The board began their meeting by approving the reappointment of David Newman to the Planning and Zoning Committee Board of Adjustments. They also heard two presentations, one by Planning and Zoning in regards to Columbia and the other about the Administrative Coordinator position the board has been discussing. From there, they heard three Annual 2015 Reports from Veterans, Forestry and Parks and Highway.
They then approved three resolutions. The first was extending the reclassification period for the Administrative Compensation Policy. The Personnel Committee is continuing to work on reclassification requests for the various county positions. They’ve decided that in order to continue that process effectively, they need more time. They also approved a resolution entitled “Just Fix It.” This will be sent to the Governor’s office with the simple purposes of saying that Clark County is fed up and they want Wisconsin’s roads fixed by any means necessary. Finally, they approved a resolution that asks the State Legislature to have the County Veterans Service Office Grant returned to the way it was at its inception as it is currently very cumbersome.
