Administrators' Reports at Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting on Monday.District Administrator Todd Felhofer stated that the district health insurance renewal quote included an 18.39% increase and dental insurance renewal included a minimal increase. He also said that the 2016-17 budget preparation continues, reminded the board to begin reviewing the 2000’s series of policies for the July meeting and said the district received a Silver Certificate of Recognition from CVTC for offering 2 or more transcripted credit courses.
Finally he stated that the outdoor classroom pond work has been completed, the district is pursuing an upgrade to the phone system to address the frequency and duration of system re-boots and a community input meeting is being held June 20th from 6:30-8:30 pm in the LMC for Vision/Mission Statement development.
High School Principal Todd Fischer provided updates on the district’s ongoing curriculum work highlighting the work on math and on the curriculum frameworks being studied. Summer School began Monday June 13th with 95 students registered at the elementary level.
