New President of Wisconsin FFA Selected

(Bob Meyer, WDLB) -The new president of the Wisconsin FFA is Brenna Bays of the Adams-Friendship FFA.Bays is a 2015 graduate of Adams-Friendship High School and is attending the University of Platteville, majoring in Animal Science with a Dairy Emphasis. She served as Parliamentarian on the 2015-16 team. Ashley Zimmerman of Spencer will serve as State Vice President.
The Waupaca FFA was named the top chapter in the state with Manawa runner-up and the Freedom FFA in third place. Waupaca was 1st in all three development areas: Student, Chapter and Community. Colby was 8th in Student Development. Owen-Withee was 8th and Edgar 10th in the Chapter Development category. Katelyn Zimmerman of the Spencer FFA was named one of three “at large” delegates to represent Wisconsin at the National FFA Convention this fall. The State FFA Convention wrapped-up early Thursday afternoon in Madison.
