Donations and Much More at Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board approved many items at their meeting on Monday and accepted a couple donations.The board graciously accepted a $5,000 donation from the Listeman Foundation for the Nature Center Project in the Outdoor Classroom and accepted a donation of 25 playground balls from Wisconsin Seal-A-Smile. The board approved Brenda Coggins as a volunteer at the elementary school, approved the employment of the summer school staff and summer custodial helpers and approved the 2016-17 Extra-Curricular assignment contracts.
In regards to finance the board approved end-of-year budget transfers, approved 2016-17 health insurance renewal with Group Health Cooperative of Eau Claire and dental insurance with MetLife, approved the bid from Data Smart for a new phone system contingent on release from their current contract and they approved the renewal of Student Accident Insurance for 2016-2017. The board also approved the first reading of two series of policies, approved WIAA membership for the 2016-17 year, reviewed technology education upgrade proposals and approved Option #2 of the technology education proposals.
