Neillsville Man Charged with Sexual Assault Enters Plea

-A Neillsville man charged with sexual assault entered a plea to the charges against him in Clark County Court on Friday.Randy Magnus is charged with two counts of 2nd degree sexual assault of an intoxicated victim and two counts of 2nd degree sexual assault of an unconscious victim for two separate incidences that occurred while he was employed as a male nurse at Memorial Medical Center. Two female patients came forward and said that Magnus sexually assaulted them back in July and August of 2015. Magnus denied having any contact with the first victim and stated the second victim initiated the contact. When this came to light he was immediately fired from the hospital.
During a preliminary hearing a couple weeks ago, probable cause was found. During his arraignment on Friday, he entered not guilty pleas to the charges against him. He has a telephonic scheduling conference on Thursday to set dates for his case.
